DESCRIPTION: Veterinary Medicine Raw Material Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate is a bacteriostatic antibiotic belonging to the pleuromutilin
class and a derivative of pleuromutilin, but it also has bactericidal effect on sensitive bacteria at very high concentrations. Like macrolide
antibiotics, Tiamulin fumarate also inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the ribosomal 50S subunit. This product has good antibacterial
activity against a variety of Gram-positive bacteria, including most Staphylococcus and Streptococcus (except Group D Streptococcus), as well as
a variety of Mycoplasma and Treponema hyodysenteriae.

CHARACTER: Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate is white or off-white crystalline powder, odorless and tasteless. It is easily soluble in methanol or
ethanol, soluble in water, slightly soluble in acetone, and almost insoluble in hexane.
WARNING:
(1) This product is forbidden to be used in combination with polyether antibiotics, because it can cause drug poisoning, slow growth, ataxia,
paralysis, and even death of chickens. Although the reaction of pigs is mild, it should not be used together.
(2) This product is safer for chickens and pigs to take orally. Can tolerate 3 to 5 times the oral dose. However, there may be occasional reactions
such as skin redness. Overdose can cause transient salivation, vomiting and central nervous system depression in pigs, and the drug should be
discontinued and symptomatic treatment should be given.
(3) During the withdrawal period, take the medicine orally for 5 days.
(4) This product is irritating, avoid contact with skin or mucous membranes.
STORAGE: Airtight and store in a dry place at temperature of 2-8℃.
INDICATIONS: Tiamulin fumarate is mainly used for Mycoplasma suis pneumonia, Haemophilus parasuis, infectious pleuropneumonia and
dysentery caused by Treponema swine, and also for chronic respiratory tract of poultry, Mycoplasma pneumonia, infectious rhinitis, Escherichia
coli, duck Infectious serositis.
USAGE: For the treatment of swine pneumonia caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and swine blood dysentery caused by Treponema
hyodysenteriae. As a feed pharmaceutical additive for pigs, it can promote weight gain. It is also effective for chicken chronic respiratory
disease, Mycoplasma swine pneumonia, and Staphylococcus aureus synovitis.
COMMON DOSAGE FORMS:
Tiamulin fumarate soluble powder 100g: 45g (45 million units)
Tiamulin fumarate premix (1) 100g: 10g (10 million units) ∩ (2) 100g: 80g (80 million units)
DOSAGE:
Mixed drink: every 1L of water Pig 45~60mg for 5 days Chicken 125~250mg for 3 days (calculated as tiamulin)
Mixed feeding per 1000kg of feed pigs 40~100g used for 5~10 days (calculated by tiamulin)
