CHARACTER: Ranitidine HCl is an off-white or light yellow crystalline powder; it has a strange odor; the taste is slightly bitter and astringent;
it is easily deliquescent, and the color becomes darker after absorbing moisture. This product is easily soluble in water or methanol, slightly
soluble in ethanol, and almost insoluble in acetone.
CAUTION: It should be used with caution in patients with hepatic insufficiency and elderly patients; in patients with severe renal insufficiency,
the dose should be halved; pregnant women and infants should only use it in absolutely necessary cases, and children under 8 years of age are
prohibited.
STORAGE: Sealed storage, stored in a cool, dry warehouse. Keep away from sunlight.
INDICATIONS:
Ranitidine HCl is used to treat Benign gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer, anastomotic ulcer, reflux esophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.
ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Oral: Ulcer disease: 150mg/time, 2 times a day, in the morning and before going to bed.
Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: 150mg/time, 3 times/day, up to 900mg/day if necessary. Children over 8 years old 75-150mg bid.
Intramuscular injection: 50 mg/time, 2 times a day.
Intravenous infusion: 100~300mg/day, or 25mg/hour, 2 times a day or once every 6~8 hours.
MAIN DOSAGE FORMS: Tablet: 150mg Capsule: 150mg Injection: 2mL: 50mg, 5mL: 50mg (hydrochloride)
